Obituary

Albert Brian Clairmont, aged 63, of Laurel, MS, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. Born on August 19, 1961, in Jennings, Louisiana, Albert was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Brenda Sullivan Clairmont, and their children: sons Patrick Clairmont (Stephanie) and Stephen Clairmont (Deshawn), and daughter Alize Gandy (Cody). He also leaves behind his mother, Dot Clairmont, and his cherished grandchildren: Connor Clairmont, Collin Clairmont, McKinley Clairmont, Dakota Clairmont, Kellen Clairmont, Hudson Clairmont, Braxton Gandy, Korton Moore, and Braylynn Gandy. His sisters, Wendy McCraney (Jeffery) and Shawn White (David), also mourn his passing.

Albert was preceded in death by his father, Joe Clairmont, and his brother, Spanky Clairmont.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, located at 4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 11:00AM at the same location. Burial will follow in Lake Park Hills Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. Bro. Gene Douglas and Mitchell Thornton will officiate the services.

Albert will be fondly remembered by all who knew him, and his legacy will live on through his family and friends.
