Alice Faye Rayner, 76, of Ellisville, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, Nov 30, 2021 at Merit Health in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, May 31, 1945 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in Laurel. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Eastview Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Troy Rayner will officiate. Mrs. Alice was a student of the Word of God. She especially enjoyed Precept Bible Studies by Kay Arthur. Alice loved children and was a retired public-school teacher. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, James Rayner Sr., her parents, James and Mella Lucky, her brother, James Henry Lucky and her sister, Carolyn Louise Turner.

Survivors include her sons, Troy Rayner (Kristi), Tim Rayner (Leigh), Derek Rayner (Kaylee), Jimmy Rayner, her daughter, Laura Waite (Lloyd), her grandsons, Jameson Rayner, Nolan Rayner, Gabe Rayner, Aaron Waite (Hannah), her granddaughters, Kambree Rayner, Mackie Rozek (Chance), Lilly Faye Rayner, her great-granddaughters, Fallyn Sims and Ellie Grace Waite, her sisters, Myrtis Gatlin and Julie Kuykendall as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tim Rayner, Derek Rayner, Lloyd Waite, Aaron Waite, Jameson Rayner, Nolan Rayner and Scott Daughdrill.
