Alicia DeSha' Cook, 45, of Sandersville, MS passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 in Ocean Springs, MS. She was born Sunday, December 10, 1978 in Magee, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 5:00 until 7:00 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel on 4593 Indian Springs Road, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Bro. Paul Holliman and Bro. Micah Mills will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342

Alicia enjoyed a good laugh and had a great sense of humor. She loved animals especially her dogs, Lilly and Callie. Alicia was adored by her friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Cook.

Survivors include her mother, Teresa Jane Atwood Cook; brother, Nathan Cook (Kristen); sister, Tracy Cook; and niece, Ariel Cook.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Wooten, Ben Mitchell, Jason Bordelon, Tim McLaurin, Jamie McClellan, and Donnie McGill.
