Anne Myrtle Watts, 91 of Soso, MS passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Shepherd`s Cove Hospice in Albertville, AL. She was born Saturday, August 29, 1931, to Walter and Myrtle Leggett.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 11:00AM until 12:00AM at Lebanon Baptist Church in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 12:00AM at Lebanon Baptist Church with burial to follow in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi.

Bro. Ken Riley and Bro. Harold Floyd will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Johnny R. Watts; parents, Walter Alexander and Myrtle Leggett; brothers, Martin Leggett, Curtis Leggett, Albert Leggett, James A. Leggett and, James W. Leggett; sisters, Lucille  Mixon, Elizabeth Sanderson, Louise Parker and Betty Hathorn.

Survivors include her son, Dr. J. Michael Watts (Tanya Smith); granddaughter, Tara Hulgan (Dr. Coty); great granddaughter, Mary Garner Hulgan and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Leggett, Walt Leggett, Miles Hathorn, Terry Clark, Terrell Clark, and, Marshall Bynum.
