Annie Ruth Bustin, 75, of Laurel, MS, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, October 17, 2025. Born on November 11, 1949, in Laurel, Mississippi, Annie spent her life surrounded by family and friends in her beloved hometown.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Michael Bustin, her brother George E. Walters and his wife Carolyn, her sister Juanita Sumrall, and her cherished grandchildren, Sydney Moore and Michael Moore. Annie also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, as well as her close friend, Danielle Moore.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, George Walters and Ruby Edwards Walters, and her sisters, Joyce Parker and Rebecca Cook.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Oakland Grove Baptist Church in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location, with Bro. Kris Parker officiating. Annie will be laid to rest in Oakland Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Sandersville, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will include Doug Dickerson, George Ewing, Tommy Ewing, Timmy Ewing, George Nathan Walters, and Tally Walters. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel.
