Annie Faye Ellzey, 84, of Soso, MS, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. Born on May 22, 1940, in Ellisville, Mississippi, Annie lived a life full of love and dedication to her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wendel Ellzey, her son, Thomas Ellzey, her father, Johnny Johnson, her mother, Edna Riels Johnson, and her brother, James Riels.

Annie is survived by her sons, Terry Ellzey and Jared Ellzey, and her daughters, Teresa Williams (Socket) and Jan Ellzey (Glenn). She leaves behind a legacy through her grandchildren, Kolton Williams, Tiffany Leitaker, Kolbie Salinas (Jesus), Jessica Munn (Tanner), T.J. Ellzey, and J.T. Ellzey, as well as her sister, Margaret Johnson. Her great-grandchildren, Jonathan Williams, Gabriel Williams, Kenasyn Garcia, Daniel Garcia, Kacelyn Salinas, Cooper Leitaker, Sadie Leitaker, Abby Kate Munn, and Baby Hudson Munn, will carry forward her memory.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, located at 4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm at the same location. Arrangements are under the care of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel.
