Auzell Craven, 90, of Soso, MS, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16, 2025, at her residence. Born on July 14, 1934, in Taylorsville, Mississippi, Auzell lived a full and cherished life surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Craven and Ralph Craven (Wanda), and her daughter, Valery Sims (Robert). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Ashley Corey (Michael), Emily Craven, Ryan Craven (LeAnn), Tanya Dykes, as well as her great-grandchildren, Austin Smith, and Callie Craven, and her great great- grandchildren Riverlynn Smith, Shane Smith, Waytt Craven, and Reese Craven. Auzell is also survived by her sister, Bobby Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Baxter Floyd and Dolly Phillips Floyd, her grandchild, Josh Craven, her brothers, James Floyd and Troy Floyd, and her sisters, Grace Floyd, Wilma Floyd, Virgie Floyd, and Francis Floyd.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 11:00AM at Salem Heights Baptist Church in Laurel, Mississippi with arrangements handled by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel. Friends and family are invited to sign the online guestbook at www.colonialchapellaurel.com.
