Benny Thomas Stringer, 65 of Laurel, MS passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024, at his residence in Laurel, MS. He was born Wednesday, April 30, 1958, in Raleigh, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in 1743 Hwy 29 N, Ellisville, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 2:00PM at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Ellisville, MS. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellisville, MS. Bro. Roy Crouch will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342.

Benny was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He was a devoted father and provider for his children and grandchildren. He worked tirelessly to build his company B Equipment. Continues to thrive today under the leadership of his children.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Reeves Stringer; father, John Stringer; mother, Edna McMullan Stringer; sisters, Margaret Barefoot and Jimmy Weaver.

Survivors include his son, Chad Stringer (April); daughter, Stephanie Hembree (Mike); grandchildren, Darran Hembree (Starr), Emillee Hembree, Dylan Hembree, Abigail Stringer, Addison Stringer and Amelia Stringer; brothers, Sam Stringer (Joe) and Kenny Stringer; sisters, Mary Bean (Tim), Tootsie Jones (Robert).

Pallbearers will be Jacob Stringer, Darran Hembree, Dylan Hembree, Mike Wilson, Ronnie Bullock, and Hershell Bragg Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Joe Pitts, Tommy Ewing, and William Riggs.
