Beverly Joyce Maxey, 70, of Laurel, MS, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. Born on February 24, 1954, in Yazoo, Mississippi, Beverly was a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother.

She is survived by her sons, Chris Williams and Jessie Maxey (Jody); daughters, Stephanie Williams and Jessica Cubley (Robby); sister, Debbie Pitts (James Ray); and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Williams; her father, Marion Eldridge; her mother, Elizabeth West Eldridge; and her sisters, Mary Jefcoat and Jean Carney.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurel, MS, with burial to follow. Bro. Troy Rayner will officiate the services, and Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will include Zachary Horn, Jacob Horn, Cole Williams, Matthew Williams, Dakota Williams, and Braxton Williams.
