Billy Ray Hollingsworth, 72, lost his battle with cancer on January 25, 2019. Visitation will be Sunday, January 27, 2019, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville, MS and from 1 p.m. till service time at 2:00 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church in Mineral Springs with Bro. Billy served in the Army National Guard and worked in the oilfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil William Hollingsworth and Eula Mae McKenzie Hollingsworth. In laws Eulen and Marriell Walters Kilgore, Brother-in-laws George Kilgore and Frank Dickens.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Dian Hollingsworth; Sons, Tony Hollingsworth and wife Karen of Taylorsville, MS, and Kevin Hollingsworth and wife Katie of Louisville, MS, 6 grandchildren, Jody Blakeney and wife Ashley, Justin Hollingsworth and wife Ashley, Nikki Graham and husband Caleb, Dylan Hollingsworth, Kade Hollingsworth, and Kolt Hollingsworth, 10 Great-grandchildren, Bailey Blakeney, Brody Blakeney, Brendan Blakeney, Easton Hollingsworth, Reese Hollingsworth, Asher Hollingsworth, Mason Hollingsworth, Kylie Jones, Audrey Jones and Brinley Graham., one brother, Rayford Hollingsworth and his wife Peggy of Collins, MS, 3 sisters, Shirley Dickens of Collins, Jeannette Armstrong and her husband Jimmy of Ellisville, MS, and Carolyn Williamson and her husband Tommy of Sumrall, MS.
