Bobbie Nell Clark, 86, of Laurel, MS passed away Friday, April 26, 2024, in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, November 9, 1937 in Laurel, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel on 4593 Indian Springs Road, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel. The burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellisville, MS. Bro. Roy Crouch and Bro. Steve Ellis will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342
Bobbie loved to travel. She enjoyed going on cruises with her friend, Jewel, and traveling out West with her daughter and son-in-law. She was retired from Jones County where she served as a clerk in several offices. She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Bobbie loved her family; especially her great-grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershell Clark; parents, Eulon and Lucille Walters; brother, James Walters (Yvonne); sisters, Lula Mae Ellzey (Orland), Cathy Walters and Carolyn Williamson (Robert) and son-in-law, Clint Wilson.
Survivors include her daughter, Rita Wilson; grandsons, Brian Wilson (Riley) and Brandon Wilson (Carrie); granddaughter, Heather Ward (Dr. Ross); great-grandchildren, Anna Wilson, Ryleigh Ward, Leah Wilson, Addison Wilson, Clark Wilson, Darby Wilson, Reese Ward, Mary Ward, Katherine Ward, Don Ross Ward (Sara Munoz), Emery Ward, Elliott Wilson, Ella Burton, Eli Burton, and her best friend, Jewel Burger.
Pallbearers will be Clark Wilson, Jimbo Walters, Doug Johnston, Isaac Crouch, Charles Brady, and Steve Shoemake.
Honorary pallbearers will be Elliott Wilson, Eli Burton, and Don Ross Ward.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to a special niece, Sherry Ellzey, who provided care and love to Bobbie throughout her illness.
