Carl Hankins, 61 of Laurel, MS passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at his residence in Laurel, MS. He was born Friday, December 22, 1961, in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in 4593 Indian Springs Road, Laurel, MS. A. Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 1:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in Laurel, MS. Bro. Derek Fretwell will officiate. Carl enjoyed spending time with his wife as well as his lifelong friends, cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels, and being called PawPaw.

He was preceded in death by his father, W. C. Hankins, Sr.; mother, Willa Jean Lewis Hankins; nephew, Rustin Sims.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Fretwell Hankins; sons, Jarrod Hankins (Cassidi) and Kenneth Brock Rainer (Lakyn); daughter, Ashley Dudley; grandchildren, Collin Hankins, Brenton Hankins, Brayden Dudley, Harper Rainer, Chief Rainer and Henley Rainer; sister, Tina Hession (Stoney); niece, Candace Madamba (Jared); aunt, Faye Johnson.
