Carolyn Diane Alexander, 63, of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away Monday June 14, 2021, at Merit Health (Wesley) in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was born Friday, May 16, 1958 in Laurel, Mississippi.
A Graveside Visitation will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the Blackledge Cemetery in Sandersville, Mississippi with Graveside Services to follow at 10:00 AM at Blackledge Cemetery Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ann Brownlee; brother, Ray Holifield Jr.; sister, Cynthia Marie.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Roy Alexander; son, Chris Chandler (Ginny); daughter, Danyelle Cotten; grandchildren, Jacob Chandler (Carson), Joshua Chandler, Caleb Chandler, and Noah Cotten; great grandchild, Crosby Chandler; sisters, Barbara Herrington (Marc), Aline Achenbach (Rick), Denise Allen (Andy); brothers, Joash Holifield, and Lane Brownlee; father, Clarence "Dick" R. Holifield Sr.(Jane); special friend, Sheila Maxcey
Pallbearers Noah Cotten, Jacob Chandler, Joshua Chandler, Caleb Chandler, Mason Nettles and Jaylen Everett.
