Obituary

Chloe Orr, 22, of Laurel, Mississippi, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 31, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 20, 2004, in Jackson, Mississippi, to Craig and Natalie Ishee Orr.

If you ever met Chloe, you know she was the happiest person in the world. She woke up happy every morning, and her joy filled every room she entered. She had the best personality, a quick sense of humor, the biggest dimples, and the most beautiful smile. She had a gift for making the people around her better, and her family will tell you she did exactly that for them every day of her life.

Chloe loved Jesus, and her favorite verse was John 3:16. She loved panda bears and the color red, and she never missed a chance to turn up “Wrecking Ball.” She loved her phone, too. Chloe was a prolific texter, and countless family members and friends have a phone full of the funny messages she sent to brighten their day.

Chloe faced many physical challenges, but she never let them define her. She exceeded every expectation placed before her. Her family is deeply grateful for the outstanding doctors who cared for her throughout her life, and for the compassion and care shown by the staff of South Central Regional Medical Center in her final moments.

Above all, her family is thankful that God blessed them with Chloe for 22 wonderful years.

She was preceded in death by Charles David Orr and Peggie Newman Orr.

She is survived by her parents, Craig and Natalie Ishee Orr; her twin sister, Mariana Orr; her brother, Eli Orr; her grandparents, Mike and Pam Ishee; her aunt, Toni Cockrell (Kirk); and her uncle, Matt Ishee (Holly).

Pallbearers will be Kaleb Cockrell, Conner Cockrell, Crews Cockrell, Luke Ishee, Darron Dodd, and David Sullivan.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Indian Springs Baptist Church in Laurel. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 PM at the church, with Dr. Richard Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Park Hill Cemetery.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements, (601) 649-3342.

Chloe never liked to see anyone sad. Her family asks that you honor her by remembering her smile, sharing a laugh, and wearing red to the services if you are able.
