Christopher Tate Riser, 44, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020, at his home in Taylorsville, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, November 16, 1975, in Laurel, Mississippi.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. (601) 785-6564
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Fred Boykin; step-grandmother, Betty Riser; one uncle, Roger Boykin.
Survivors include his loving mother, Beth Boykin Riser of Taylorsville; stepfather, Robert Riser of Ovett; grandmother, Grace Boykin of Taylorsville; step-grandmother, Bernard Riser; two cousins, Brad Boykin and his wife, Sara of Taylorsville and Chad Boykin and his wife Nikki of Calhoun; one aunt, Alice Boykin; special friend, Melissa Richardson; and a host of other family members and friends.
