Obituary

Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Smith Jones went home to Jesus on December 11, 2022, at age 60. She passed away peacefully in her sleep right next to her Christmas tree with Christmas music playing.

Cindy was born to Arthur and Shirlene Smith on February 8, 1962, in Neelyville, Missouri.

Cindy started dating her husband, Corbey Jones, at Southeastern Baptist College in Laurel, Mississippi. They married July 3, 1981, and had four beautiful children and seven even more beautiful grandchildren. Cindy loved to play the piano and sing with her family, especially her children, her favorite thing in the world, was to spoil her grandchildren no matter how many times her children told her to stop. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Cindy joins her father Arthur, and her son Andrew, in Heaven, where they are certainly praising the Savior together. She is survived by her husband, Corbey, her mother Shirlene Smith, her children, Carey Jones, Cera Thompson, and Bethany Hinton (Patrick), her grandchildren, Abigail, Kadey, Ellie, Isaiah, Ryleigh, Leigha Claire, and Weston, and her siblings, Lisa Hudson (Matt), John David Smith (Kim), and Rhonda Tilly (Steven).
