Dale Melton Peacock, 86 of Seminary, MS passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at his residence in Seminary, MS. He was born Friday, January 15, 1937, in Young County, Texas to the late Guy and Opal Peacock.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 2:00PM at Fair Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Stringer, MS with burial to follow. Dennis Gregory will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Scarbrough Peacock; father, Guy Peacock; mother, Opal Cook Peacock; grandchild, Dalton Peacock and 7 siblings.

Survivors include his son, Dale Mitchell Peacock (Bridgette); daughter, Diana Jordan (Steve); grandchildren, Jacob Peacock, Dallas Peacock, Dakota Peacock, Cole Williams, Matthew Williams; 1 sister and 4 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Steve Jordan, Sam Phillips, Cole Williams, Chris Williams, Justen Jones and Michael Thrash.
