Dana Renee McCraw, 54, of Laurel, MS, was welcomed home by her Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 7, 2024. She was born Tuesday, November 25, 1969 in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Crosspointe Church in Laurel, MS. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. The burial will then take place in Lake Park Hills Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. Rev. Justin Holifield will officiate. Dana truly believed that you serve the Lord best by serving others. When she wasn't helping others as a nurse, Mimi, or friend, she enjoyed spending time just "tinkerin-around". She enjoyed arts, crafts and baking cakes for her grandbabies. Dana was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Peggy Woodward.

Survivors include her son, Josh Russum (Alexandria); daughters, Courtney Edwards (William) and Bailee Miller (Tyler); brothers, Neal Crumpton (Kim), Ivan Crumpton (Kayla) and Matt Crumpton (Hailee); sister, Neysha Stringer (Tony); step-parents, Latrelle and Sharon Crumpton; grandsons, Riley, John Ryder, Elvis, John Luke, Liam, Conner and August; granddaughters, Mackenzie, Autumn, Avery and Lilah; friend, John Russum. She is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Matt Crumpton, Ivan Crumpton, Neal Crumpton, Deven Anderson, Phil Davis, Mike Caraway, Gentry Barton, and Josiah Jones.
