Darrel Keith Culpepper, Sr., 77 of Laurel, MS passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at Comfort Care Nursing Center in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Tuesday, July 9, 1946, in Wayne County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 11:00AM until 12:30PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in 4593 Indian Springs Road, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 12:30PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in Laurel, MS. Burial will follow in Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery in Soso, MS.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Butler Culpepper; father, George W. Culpepper; mother, Effie Mondale Henderson Culpepper; brothers, Billy Culpepper, Bobby Culpepper; sisters, Hazel Sellers, Connie Farrior and Mary Palmer.

Survivors include his son, Keith Culpepper (Tracey); daughter, Brooke Todd (Doug); grandchildren, Chase Todd, Summer Culpepper, Kiera Carpenter and Kaelyn Lohr; brother, Ronnie Culpepper.

Pallbearers will be Doug Todd, Chase Todd, and Jason Todd.
