David E. Stewart's Obituary
David E. Stewart, 58, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at his residence in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Friday, September 2, 1960 in Topeka, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Salem Heights Baptist Church in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Salem Heights Baptist Church and the Burial will follow in Salem Heights Cemetery. Bro. Brent Benson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342.
David was an active member of Salem Heights Baptist Church and a member of the deacon body. He retired from the U.S. Post Office with 26 years of service. David enjoyed fishing , hunting and golf.
He was preceded in death by father, Don Stewart.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years Molly Stewart; mother, Carolyn Fox; son, James Stewart; daughter, Erin Stewart; brother, Doug Stewart (Kathy).
Pallbearers will be Mike Faler, Mark Graham, Paul Hood, Zac Matina, Greg Robertson, Tommy Sherrod, Scott Smiley and Wayne Stewart.
