David Lee Warren, 81, departed this life on October 19th, 2017 at SCRMC of Laurel, MS. David's celebration of Life will be held at his beloved home church, Life Church, Laurel, MS on Sunday, October, 22, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 PM with funeral services to follow. He served for over 30 years at Life Church in any capacity that was needed and always with perfection and enthusiasm. Dave served in the Army for 4 years and came home to begin a career at Murphy Mart in Ohio and from there to Walmart in Laurel, MS where he retired after many years of service. Dave was preceded in death by the love of his life, JoAnn Cooley Warren and by his father, Leo Warren of Pennsylvania and his mother, Edna Warren of Ohio; and a son, Joey Lamar Walters of Seminary, MS. He is survived by his daughters, Sheila Ann Gordon of Morton, MS and her husband, Ken Gordon, Jr., daughter, Alaina Ranee Gilbert of Nashville, TN and husband, Ted Gilbert; grandchildren include Laura JoAnna Sorey of Lake, MS and husband, Cody Sorey and their children, Jayden and Macie; Heather Ranee Westmoreland and Jason Westmoreland, Jennifer Roberts and husband, Greg; and Jessica Hammond. Pallbearers will be Ken Gordon, Ted Gilbert, Dr. Rusty Stevens, Clint Landrum, Dr. Kyle Bateman and Phil Sapienza. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jamie Foster and Mike Mulkey.
