Deborah Lynne Brown, 61, of Magee, MS, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025, at her residence in Laurel, MS. Born on August 2, 1963, in Laurel, Mississippi, Deborah was a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Jason Earl Linson, and her daughters, Shasta Nicole Smith, along with her partner Carlos Hill, and Jessica Lynne McMillan, with her husband Dustin. Deborah also leaves behind five stepchildren, twelve grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Her siblings, Jim Daniel Carr and his wife Kim, Cecil Allen Carr, Adam Carr and his wife Dotty, and sister LaHoma Herrington, will cherish her memory.

Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Brown, her father, J.D. Carr, and her mother, Margie Nell Landrum Dool.

Family and friends will gather to honor Deborah's life with a visitation on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, located at 4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the same location, with Bro. Randy Cook officiating. Interment will take place at Union Seminary Cemetery.

Deborah will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
