Deborah Louise Compton, 67, of Laurel, MS, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Born on March 4, 1957, in Laurel, Mississippi, Deborah spent her life surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Bryan Compton; her loving daughter, Michelle Templeton and her husband Jeremy; her cherished sisters, Cheryl Jones and Susan Kyzar; and her beloved grandsons, Carter Templeton and Cooper Templeton. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Kriner and Catherine Cade Kriner.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, located at 4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location, with Bro. Shannon Slover and Father Tommy Conway officiating.

Deborah will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
