Deborah Jean Goodson, 69, of Laurel, MS, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. Born on February 11, 1955, in Pennsylvania, Deborah was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Clarence Goodson, and her children, sons Dennis Cox and Frank Braden, Jr., and daughters Rachel Braden, Wanda Braden, and Patricia Cox. She also leaves behind her brother, Michael Aronson, and sisters Chris Jacob, Donna Gutierrez, Mary Drown (Keith), and Kathleen Capich.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Milton Aronson and Catherine Madden Aronson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 1:00PM until 3:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, located at 4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will follow at 3:00PM at the same location. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel.
