Debra Ann Smith Russ, 68 of Laurel, MS passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She was born Sunday, September 25, 1955, in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 11:00AM at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342.

She was preceded in death by her father, CD Smith.

Survivors include mother, Mary Helen Jernigan Simpson her sons, Jason Ishee and Kevin Ishee; grandchildren, Josie Ishee and Jax Ishee; sister, Wanda Keyes; Great nephew, Brayden Buckley; niece, Kerri Edwards (Andy). The family would like to express great appreciation to cousin Melissa "Missy" Sims who was our rock during this trying time.
