Delorese Lee Lancaster, 88, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, died Tuesday May 22, 2018 at her home, with her children by her side. She was born Friday, February 14, 1930 in Smith County, Mississippi.

A graveside service will be held for immediate family with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Bro. John Barnes will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. (601) 785-6564

Delorese was loved and respected greatly by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Tubby" Lancaster; parents, Grady Lee and Bessie Lee Yawn and grandchildren, Christopher Lancaster and Adam Holt King.

Survivors include her children, Bruce Lee Lancaster (Sheila), Mt. Olive, MS, Yvonne Lancaster Osborne (Randy), Terry, MS and Linda Lancaster Beech (Curtis), Ellisville, MS; grandchildren, Caleb Lancaster, Lacee Osborne Curtis, Kimberlee Osborne Eady, Heath King, Hartselle, AL, Anson King, Angie King, ; great-grandchildren, Ellery Lancaster, Arlon Curtis, Tucker Eady, Natalie King, Wyatt King, Holt King and one brother, William Gary Lee (Merle), Poplarville, MS.
