Denise O. Barrett, 66, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Comfort Care Nursing Home in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Sunday, December 27, 1953 in Columbus, Georgia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Temple Baptist Church in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Temple Baptist Church and burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Bro. Cliff Jenkins and Bro. Harold Floyd will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342
She was preceded in death by her father, English O'Banion Sr., grandson, Cody Lassiter, sister, Teresa Glass.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Frank Barrett, son, Greg Barrett (Melissa), Jeff Barrett (Tiva), grandchildren, Blake Barrett, Rebecca Smith (Joey), sisters, Sharon Eason, Dedra Hendry (Robbie), Tina Green (Janet), brother, English O'Banion Jr. (Barbara), mother, Lillie M. O'Banion, brother-in-law, Ronnie Glass.
Pallbearers will be Joey Smith, Jeremy Hendry, Matt Hendry, Blake Barrett, and Daniel Hyatt.
