Dollie Jane Loftin, 81 of Laurel, MS passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She was born Tuesday, July 8, 1941, in Laurel, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, MS. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 1:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, MS. Burial will follow in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. Bro. Harold Floyd and Bro. Paul Matte will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342
Dollie was a member of Moss First Church of God. She worked for Jones County Schools for over 19 years. She was a dedicated wife and caregiver to her husband for 27 years. She was a loving mother, nannie and nae nae.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Loftin; parents, Roy and Allie Hopkins Hill; brothers, Lafay Hill, and Alton Hill; sister-in-law, Diane Hill.
Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Loftin and Teresa Scitzs (Randy); grandsons, Chad Scitzs (Lorrie) and Caleb Scitzs (Macey); great grandchildren, Natalie Scitzs, Cruz Scitzs and Brynlee Scitzs; brother, Bill Hill (Linda); sister-in-law, Faye Hill; and a host of neices and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Randy Loftin, Mason Lambert, Tristan Lawrence, Nathaniel Lawrence, Ricky Bynum, and Marshall Bynum.
