Donald Ray Welch, 77, of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away Sunday April 25, 2021, at Care Center of Laurel. He was born Monday, September 20, 1943 in Iuka, Mississippi.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Summerland Baptist Church Cemetery with burial to follow in Summerland Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Andy Pittman will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342.

Donald worked as a printer for a number of years in Nashville, TN. He loved to fish but most of all he loved The MSU Bulldogs. He will be missed by all his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Maggie Welch; brothers, Clinton Welch, Leroy Welch, Jimmy Welch, and Paul Milford Welch.

Survivors include his brothers, Leonard Welch, and Bobby Welch (Janice); sister, Laverne Walker and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John Pearson, Roger Welch, and Darrell Walker.
