Doris Irene Silfies, 97, of Ellisville, Mississippi, died Monday January 4, 2021, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Monday, May 7, 1923, in Jasper County, Mississippi.

Graveside services will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Heidelberg Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342.
She was a retired register nurse.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Silfies; parents, Charles and Molly Waldrup and her beloved grandchildren, David Lee and Erin Galaher.

Survivors include her two daughters; Cindy Silfies and Molly Silfies; grandchildren, Unity Hulbert, Kenny Hulbert, Kati Cheek, and Angela Interiano; Six-great grandchildren, Christopher Shelby, David Lee, Jack Short, Olivia Galaher, and Lou Kitchens; 17-great-great grandchildren.
