Dorothy A. Longworth, 83, of Sandersville, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday May 26, 2021, in Sandersville, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, May 27, 1937, in Jacksboro, Texas.

A Graveside Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with burial to follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Bro. Randy Clark will officiate.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She enjoyed sewing, reading, country music and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Lawrence L. Longworth; father, John Jackson; mother, Juanita Jackson Brownlee.

Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Hinton, and Sharon Brooks (Rockie); sister, Doris Blankenship; grandchildren, Jennifer Mosley (Jimmy), Lindsey Mauldin, Stacy Giroux (Ryan), Alyssa Adams; niece, Kathy Smith; nephew, Allen Blankenship and a host of great grandchildren, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Giroux, Billy Hinton, Jimmy Mosley, Danny Rowell, Ricky Hodge, and Cody Hodge.
