Edythe Lynn Lofton, 79, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Monday, March 12th, 2018 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Monday, October 10, 1938 in Laurel, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Calhoun and the Burial will follow in Union Line Cemetery. Bro. Leon Carmical will officiate. Survivors include Cherrie Dearman (Daughter), Wayne Lofton (Valerie) (Son) of Florida, Bonnie Pitts (Kenny Jefcoat)(Granddaughter), Adam Lofton (Grandson), April Phillips (Mark) (Granddaughter), Donnie Dearman (Stephanie) (Grandson), Tobias Lofton (Grandson), Evan Pitts (Great-grandson), Emma Crowder (Great-granddaughter), Delores Jones (Orlan) (Sister), Lonnie Lofton (Sue) (Brother-in-law), and a close friend, Dr. Medrick Savell, and a host of nieces and nephews.
