Emma Sue Edison, 79, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, died Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She was born Monday, December 19, 1938 in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville and the Burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery. Bro. Roy Crouch will officiate. Emma Sue was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mamaw.She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church of Ellisville. She loved her church and her church family.

She was preceded in death by Luther Edison (Husband), James Allen (Father), Geneva Allen (Mother).

Survivors include Linda Jones (Terry) (Daughter), Wanda Byrd (Walt) (Daughter), Matthew Byrd (Jenny) (Grandson), Justin Jones (Laura) (Grandson), Bridgett Taylor (Alex) (Granddaughter), Kaitlyn Byrd (Granddaughter), Dylan Jones (Leah Brabham) (Grandson), Kayley Byrd (Great-granddaughter), Emma Catherine Jones (Great-granddaughter).

Pallbearers will be Walt Byrd, Terry Jones, Curtis Little, Matthew Byrd, Justin Jones, and Dylan Jones.
