Emmett G. "Sonny" Ford, 88, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, died Tuesday October 16, 2018 at the VA of Collins in Collins, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, March 2, 1930 in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 the body will be placed in the church at 10:00 AM with services at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church Taylorsville and the Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery. Sonny owned and operated several businesses and was long time car salesman in both Taylorsville and Collins.

He was preceded in death by Jean Ford (Wife), Malachi Ford (Father), Sue Ford (Mother), Donald Ford (Brother) and special friend Climmis Byars.

Survivors include his sons, Gary Ford and, Gordon Ford (Debbie); grandchildren, Jason Ford , Molly Ford, Mary Ford and Lauren Ford.

Pallbearers will be Ed Ford, Tom Ford, Dennis Ford, Dr. Daniel Epstein, Jason Ford, Mary Ford, Lauren Ford, and Molly Ford.
