Evelyn Lucille Donald, 75 of Sandersville, MS passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at the Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born Friday, November 26, 1948, in Mobile, Alabama.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in 4593 Indian Springs Road, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 2:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in Laurel, MS. Burial will follow in Blackledge Cemetery in Sandersville, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald, Sr.; son, James Donald, Jr.; father, James Hartley; grandchild, Tiffany Barnett; brothers, Frankie Hartley and Eugene Hartley; sister, Mary Maxcey.

Survivors include her sons, James Barnett, Sr. (Maria), Charles Barnett (Emily), Claude Caves (Susan); daughter, Donna Heath (Jonathan); step-son, James Donald; step-daughter, Elizabeth Barnett; mother, Evelyn Hodge Hartley; grandchildren, John Heath, Daniel Heath, Dillon Heath, James Barnett, Jr., Christopher Polk, Bradon Barnett, Rosalynn Barnett, Tiffany Danielle Barnett, Daniel Caves, Christopher Caves, Cody Donald and Kayla Donald.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Heath, John Heath, Daniel Heath, Dillon Heath, Charles Barnett, Brandon Barnett, and Ron Maxcey.
