Faye Thompson Manning, 81, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Sunday, May 12th, 2019 at her residence in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, August 19, 1937 in Jones County, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel and the Burial will follow in Florence Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Holder will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342.
She was preceded in death by Father, William Thompson; mother, Christa Thompson; granddaughter, Anna Manning; sisters, Eleanor Thompson, Elsie Pickering and, Valda Rae Shows.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years John Earl Manning; sons, John S. Manning and Mark K. Manning (Michelle); grandchildren, Marissa Dickerson (Slade), Marcus Manning, Hunter Scrimpshire (Summer), and Dillon Scrimpshire (Shauna); great grandchildren, Isabella Scrimpshire, and Annastyn Scrimpshire.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Manning, Slade Dickerson, Hunter Scrimpshire, Dillon Scrimpshire, Brian Manning, and Casey Pickering.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chucky Griffith.
