Floyd Leon Clinton, 62, of Ellisville, MS, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024 in Laurel, MS. He was born Sunday, September 17, 1961 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 10:30 AM until 2:00 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church on 895 Lower Myrick Rd. Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. The burial will then take place in Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Ricky Trull will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342

He was preceded in death by his father, Mulford "Buddy" Clinton, and his mother, Esther Ulmer Clinton.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Teresa Dukes Clinton;  daughters, Indiana Knotts (Tyner) and Nikki Poore (Robert);  sister, Cheree Livingston (Sherman);  granddaughters, Ada Knotts, Bailey Jefcoat (Ackerley), Laken Nicholas (Jerry), Ashlyn Poore, Kaleigh Poore and Kyleigh Poore;  great grandson, Axel Strickland; a special furbaby, Lucy; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Michael Garcia, Kendal Rowell, Tad Walters, Timothy Rowell, Kelton Rowell, and John White.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bobo McCraney and Tony Freeman.
