Frances Dykes, 68, of Soso, MS passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at her residence in SoSo, MS. She was born Thursday, September 15, 1955 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ricky Dykes; whom she considered her soulmate forever and always; her beloved father, Johnnie Ingram; mother, Katie Ryals.

Survivors include her son, Brad Dykes, (Dayton, OH); daughter, Amanda Corley (Kevin Bowman), (Ackerman, MS); granddaughters, Sarah Pettit (Dayton, OH); Tarah Dykes (Dayton, OH); grandson, Tayler Corley (Mississippi State University); Kamden Bowman (Ackerman, MS); super special friends, Trish and O.J. Ramagos; Angie and Robert Smith, and Elbin and Jackie McLaurin as well as a host of other friends and family.

She was a beloved wife, mother, nannie, and nurse. She loved her family dearly. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. Most of all she had a relationship with Jesus and would love for everyone to know him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel on 4593 Indian Springs Road, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. The burial will then take place in Big Creek Cemetery in Soso, Mississippi. Bro. Adam Sloan will officiate.
