George L Kilgore, 78, of Taylorsville, MS died Wednesday, November 01, 2017 at his residence in Taylorsville, MS. He was born Friday, June 02, 1939 in Baskin, LA. Visitation will be held Friday, November 03, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Taylorsville in Taylorsville. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 03, 2017 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Taylorsville in Taylorsville, MS. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, MS. He went to Taylorsville High School through the 10th grade, then moved to Okmulgee, OK and lived with his brother, Charles Kilgore. He completed high school there. He then moved and traveled to various states with his employment. He eventually made his home in Tacoma, WA where he met and married the love of his life, Bobbi Nicholls. He then retired in 2006 and moved back to Taylorsville, MS. Once there George and Bobbi accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior as members of First Baptist Church of Taylorsville. He loved his church family and was faithful to the church and Hands and Feet ministry where he served until his health prevented him from serving any more. He is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Kilgore, mother, Era Kilgore, brother, Charles Kilgore, brother, Harold D. Kilgore, sister, Nina Rea White, sister, Nettie Faye Kilgore, sister, Nella R. Hebert. Survivors include his wife of 45 years,Bobbi Kilgore, Taylorsville, MS, nieces; Virginia Hester, Rhonda Pierce (John), Cynthia Vine (Jack), Belinda Mayden (Jim), sister-in-law, Lavonne Kilgore, nephews; Charles White (Judy), Thomas White (Louise), Joe White (Bobbie), Leroy Hebert (Faye), Lonnie Hebert, Rick Herbert, Randy Kilgore, Rodney Kilgore.
