Gerald Wayne Lee, 82 of Ovett, MS passed away Monday, July 15, 2024, in Mendenhall, MS. He was born Friday, November 28, 1941, in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel on 4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Lee; son, Rick Lee; father, Glenn Wayne Lee; mother, Emma Aileen Laine; brother, Darrell Lee; daughter-in-law, Debbie Lee.

Survivors include his son, Scott Trigg (Peggy); daughters, Mitzi Knepper (Steve), Angela Holifield (Jason) and Mandy Lee; grandchildren, Richard A. Lee (Cynthia), Zeb Morgan, David Gleason, Malichi Holifield (Nikki), Alora Holifield, Amelia Holifield (Max Miller), Joseph Rowell, Samatha Rowell, Heather Rowell, Brandon Lee (Jessica Kelly) and Anthony Weathersby (Haley Stewart); 16- great- grandchildren and 2-great great grandchildren and a host of other families' members and relatives.
