Gerald D. Weatherford, 75, of Mize, Mississippi, died Saturday June 15, 2019 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Saturday, September 25, 1943 in Rayville, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylorsville, MS and Burial will follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Weatherford; father, Lasso Weatherford; mother, Ethel Ree Weatherford.

Survivors include his daughters, Brittany Weatherford Barron (James), Tammy Traxler (Melvyn), and Deana Pilgrim (Jay); grandchildren, Tiffany Traxler, Stephanie Jackson (Cody), Brandon Traxler (Brianna), Josh Traxler, and Michael Pilgrim; great-grandsons, Hunter Marcum, Waylon Jackson, and James Henry Jackson; sister, Juanita Stephenson (Glenn); brothers, Johnny Weatherford (Barbara), Bobby Weatherford and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
