Gregory Stephens Moore, 76 of Laurel, MS passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. He was born Tuesday, January 6, 1948, in Quitman, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 1:00PM until 3:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel in 4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 04, 2024, at 3:30PM at Good Hope Baptist Church in Stringer, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Stringer, MS. John Sanford will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. 601-649-3342.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Faye Ivey Moore.

Survivors include his daughter, Micah Gatlin (Craig); grandchild, Georgia Moore.

Pallbearers will be Craig Gatlin, Jody Johnson, Michael Shotts, Mark Stringfellow, Justin Walley, and Ed Ramsey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Shotts, Rick Thomas, Ronnie Gavin, Randy Ramsey, Doug McNeill, and Joe Payne.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to  the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons's Research.
