Harold Wayne Dearmon, Jr, 73 of Stringer, MS passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at his residence in Stringer, MS. He was born Tuesday, January 16, 1951, in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 28, 2024, from 10:00AM until 12:00PM at Jesus Name Church of Ellisville in 802 North Church Street, Ellisville, MS. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 28, 2024 at 12:00PM at Jesus Name Church of Ellisville with burial to follow in Ellisville City Cemetery. Bro. David Williams will officiate.

Harold Wayne Dearmon, Jr, a treasured man, a community jokester, and friend to many. Harold was born January 16, 1951, and went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2024.

Harold was born in Laurel, Mississippi, where he attended school. From early on, he fell in love with the idea of being a welder and being hands on with a job. He fulfilled that goal and was a certified welder for 30 years, doing what he loved.

Once he was no longer able to work, he would spend his free time doing all the things he loved. He loved to watch westerns, visit the Mountains, and most importantly, he loved to spend his time with his family.

Harold Wayne Dearmon, Jr, was a man filled with laughter, love, and kindness. Harold was a son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, cousin, uncle, and friend. He leaves behind 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. That is a life well lived.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Toni Jo Reese Dearmon; father, Harold Dearmon, Sr; mother, Eula Truitt Dearmon; grandchild, Brantley Hall; brother, Rayford Dearmon.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by his son, Timothy Wayne Dearmon; daughters, Tammy Renee Dearmon Davis, Valerie Dearmon Hall (Lance), Miranda Shale Reese Scruggs (Cody), and Skyler Jeaux Dearmon; his adored grandchildren, Shayla Davis King (Nate), Savanna Renee Davis Lee (Matthew), Santanna Rose Davis (Harold), Kaden Robert Henderson, Abigail Dearmon, Cody Dearmon, and Harper Scruggs; his lovely sisters, Mary Dearmon Bishop, Cheryl Dearmon Smith (Tom), and Pearlie Dearmon Hoyt; nieces, Tiffany Shoemake, Kim Pope, Tracy Hamil, and Michelle Thrash; Nephews, Chris Dearmon, Matt Dearmon, Marty Dearmon, Farron Young, James Bishop, Jr, and David Smith.

Pallbearers will be Cody Scruggs, Kaden Henderson, Marty Dearmon, Nate King, Chris Dearmon, and Matt Dearmon.

Honorary pallbearer will be Lance Hall.
