Helen Hill Holloway, 90, of Soso, MS, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Guardian Angels in Laurel, MS. Born on June 7, 1935, in Jones County, Mississippi, Helen lived a full and cherished life as a pastors wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bro. Edward Holloway; her parents, Bernice H. Hill and Zader Holifield Hill; her brothers, Hilton Hill (Jeanette) and Thomas Hill; her brothers-in-law, Douglas McDonnieal and Pat Ware; and her sister-in-law, Ruby Dale Green.

Helen is survived by her son, Steven Holloway and his wife Lynelle; her daughters, Rachel Walters and her husband Jackie, and Teresa McLaurin and her husband David. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren: Joseph Walters (Ginger), Jacob Walters (Jeannie), Chad McLaurin (Lacey), Bill Holloway (Jody), Jim Holloway (Jami), Stacy Myers (Evan), and Josh Walters (Dianne). She was also blessed with 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Her brother-in-law, Kenneth Green, and sister-in-laws, Naomi Hill, Marilyn McDonnieal, and Frances Ware, along with a host of nieces and nephews, also survive her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Berean Baptist Church, located at 3310 Hwy 29, Soso, MS. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location, with Bro. Dale Broom officiating. Burial will take place at Union Line Cemetery in Soso, Mississippi. Pallbearers will include Charlie Walters, Caleb Walters, Johnny Myers, Andrew Myers, Joshua Walters, and Matthew Holloway, with honorary pallbearers being her other great-grandchildren.
