Helen Lynette Husband, 66, of Sandersville passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at her home with family by her side. She was born on September 13, 1957 to Joseph and Clarabell Nyland Davis in Stamps, Arkansas. Lynette moved with her family to Jones County, Mississippi when she was a small child. She was a lifelong caregiver for which the family is eternally grateful. She was a member of Sandersville Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Doug Davis; sister in law, Deborah Davis (Doug) and sister in law, Deborah Davis (Walter).

Lynette is survived by her son and daughter in law, Cody and Meagan Husband of Laurel; 3 brothers, Walter Davis of Sandersville, Joe Davis (Andrea) of Oxford, MS, and Danny Davis (Janelle) of Pensacola, FL; 2 sisters, Tania Keyes (Dobber) of Laurel and Sallie Mello of Peabody, MA; special niece, Raimey Brown (Josh) of Sandersville, numerous nieces and nephews; and, her bonus grand babies, Noah, Milo, and Magnolia Brown.

Pallbearers are Walter Davis, Joe Davis, Danny Davis, Jeremy Davis, Reese Davis, and Joshua Brown. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Husband, Milo Brown, and Noah Brown.

Services are Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel with visitation beginning at 9:00am and the funeral service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Sandersville Baptist Church Cemetery in Sandersville. Bro. Robbie Johnson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements.
