Hilda Kaye Downs, 63, of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away after a long illness on Tuesday October 6, 2020 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, November 24, 1956 in Laurel, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the Park Haven Baptist Church in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Park Haven Baptist Church and burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Bro. Tom Cheeks will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342
Kaye was a member of Park Haven Baptist Church since 1963.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Onnie Bee Williams, great-grandchild, Isabella Martin.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Jimmy Downs, daughter, Melissa Langley (Chris), son, Michael Downs (Jennifer), grandchildren, Lindsey Martin, Ashley Holifield, Dolton Langley, Issac Downs, Kaylee Langley, Madison Downs, and 6 great-grandchildren, sisters, Joyce Creel, Deborah English (Jackie), brother, Donnis Williams (Etta).
Pallbearers will be Edward Kampe, Chris Langley, Dolton Langley, Michael Downs.
