Homer Ainsworth, 80, of Taylorsville, died Thursday, November 23, 2017 at his home in Taylorsville, MS. He was born Saturday, July 24, 1937 in Jones County,MS. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Colonial Chapel Taylorsville in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Colonial Chapel Taylorsville in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Dr. Frankie Clark will officiate. Special music will be provided by Ralph Armstrong, brother-in-law. Burial will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by his parents Dossie Ainsworth and Ora Ainsworth , sister, Essie White, brothers Burnice Ainsworth, Ernest Ainsworth, D.C. Ainsworth, and Charles Ainsworth, and a grandson Timothy Ainsworth. Survivors include his wife of 27 years Angela Ainsworth of Taylorsville, MS, daughter, Hannah Sims (Jeremy) of Taylorsville, MS, daughter, Penny Ainsworth (James) of Louin, MS, daughter, Misty Gregory (Trey), of Stringer, MS, son, Tony Ainsworth (Leanna) of Bay Springs, MS, daughter, Candy Blakeney (Todd) of Taylorsville, MS, sister Wllie Polk of Taylorsville, MS, sister, Katherine Landrum of Sandersville, MS, and grandchildren, Dalton Blakeney, Kayanna Blakeney, Harely Sims, Norkate Sims, Austin Gregory, Brittany Gregory, Caitlin Gregory, C.J. Upton, Jayden Upton, Kambron Ainsworth, Kloey Ainsworth, and Clay Bilbery. Pallbearers will be Family Members. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of The Board's Den.
