James Dorwin Dodie Blakeney, 57, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Wednesday, June 28, 1961 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville and the Burial will follow in Barnes Cemetery, Hot Coffee, MS. Bro. Survivors include his wife of 33 years Karen Blakeney, Mother, Doris McKee, Step-father, Herman McKee and his wife Annis, Brother, Terry Neal Blakeney, Step-brothers, Billy Wayne McKee and his wife Bonnie, Mike McKee, Step-sister, Teresa Lloyd and her husband Scott, Mother-in-Law, Maurine Sitz, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ken May, Mike Bavido, Jeff Gilliam, Baker Ford, Austin Jones, Billy McKee Jr, and Corey Yelverton.
