Milton was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Shady Grove. He retired from Masonite where he worked for over 40 years. After Masonite, he enjoyed operating construction equipment for his friend Gary Hicks. Milton's time outside of work was spent operating his beloved cattle farm.

In 2018, Milton's wife and soulmate Oneta passed away. They were married for 61 years and had not been separated since they met at Jones County Junior College in 1957 as students. While he will be greatly missed by his family, they take great comfort in knowing Milton and Oneta have been reunited in the kingdom of heaven.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all those who have been in prayer for Milton

throughout his illness and final days. They also would like to thank his hospice providers and his

caretakers, Linda Parker and LaToya Clark.

Pallbearers will be Hayden Myrick, Levi Myrick, Jonathan Myrick, Shawn Myrick, Ford Turner, and Tally Shaw.

In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests that donations be made to the Gideons for the purchase of bibles.
