James Ricky Stringfellow, 73, of Laurel, MS passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at his residence. He was born Thursday, March 22, 1951 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel on 4593 Indian Springs Road, Laurel, MS. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. The burial will then take place in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. Bro. Garrett Braley will officiate. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonzie and Mildred Stringfellow; brothers, Lonzie "Buddy" Stringfellow, Freddy Stringfellow and Don Stringfellow; sisters, Dorothy Pilgrim, Linda Warren; as well as his best Pup friend ever, Bella.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Valerie Stringfellow; sons, Kevin Jordan and Steven Stringfellow (Lecrutia); daughters, Lisa Parker (Billy), Amy Ray (Kevin) and Amanda White (Melvin); grandsons, Brody Parker, Brandon Ray (Chandler), Bryce Ray, Braxton White, Blaine White and Sawyer Stringfellow; granddaughters, Meg Parker, Millie Ray and Aubreigh Stringfellow; great grandchildren, Avery Ray, Lainey Ray and Brock Parker.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Ray, Bryce Ray, Brody Parker, Melvin White, Kevin Ray, and Billy Parker.

Honorary pallbearers will be Braxton White, Blaine White, and Sawyer Stringfellow.

Special music will be performed by Bro. Bob Taylor.
